Thanks, too, for popping by to leave a comment. :-)Jan Baynhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06356572488839476046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3357383818158631304.post-47503233672300466092016-08-02T11:26:46.584-07:002016-08-02T11:26:46.584-07:00Finding each character's individual voice is s...Finding each character's individual voice is so important. It is one of the things that lifts a novel and makes it stand out from the rest. It isn't just the things that they say out loud. It's the way you express the narrative when in the respective character viewpoints. May I suggest 'Deep Point of View' by Marcy Kennedy, which is an excellent guide.Susanna Bavinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05716163626810832427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3357383818158631304.post-3148152131524527122016-08-02T10:15:39.243-07:002016-08-02T10:15:39.243-07:00First things first, Jan. (Much like virtual reality.) Close your eyes. Imagine your first scene. Walk through it with your five senses on full alert. You will be surprised at how this develops the responses of your supporting cast. x carol rivershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05279758164232387744noreply@blogger.com
